Description

RacketBoy is an old school block breaking bullet hell that takes you to a colorful universe of nonsense creatures, beautiful worlds and non-stop space tennis action. Help RacketBoy save his planet from a horde of cute-yet-deadly foes who will stop at nothing to bring pain and suffering to our hero's homeland.

If you love games with fast paced arcade action, bullet hell dodging, classy pixel art, infectious dancy music, nonsensical settings, insane mega bosses and much love from the devs… This game is for you!

History

The Game

Created for the Arcade-themed Indies vs Gamers gamejam hosted by Gamejolt, RacketBoy was heavily inspired on good old school arcade games from the 80s and 90s. In the 3 days of development, the team was able to make a solid fast paced infinite score attack game. After a week of votes the game earned first place in the event.

Over the course of the weeks past the gamejam, players’ reception was amazing. Open duels for the leaderboards’ top, comments on the Gamejolt website, let’s play videos and even fanarts poped up on our page! After that, fueled by these outstanding reaction, our team decided to dive into a crowdfunding campaign until RacketBoy can be a full fledged game, featuring everything players craved for and more!
